Kibra Hacha is a foundation for all Antillians and Arubians living in the province of Utrecht.
It was founded on the 4th of june 1971 and is named after a tree that grows in the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. Kibra Hacha has also a symbolic meaning: “strength”and “perseverence”. 

Goal

The goal of Kibra Hacha is to defend the interest of all Antillians and Arubians residing in the province of Utrecht. An important role in this is their social well being, integration and participation into the Dutch community.

 Kibra Hacha tries to fulfill their goal by:

      -          promoting and organizing social, cultural and educational activities;
-
          providing information to Antillians and Arubians as well to the Dutch;
-
          individual social guiding;
-
          promoting of more participation towards community developments
-
          promoting and sustaining initiatives of others concerning activities and projects.

Activities

 Kibra Hacha has been organizing a lot of short term and periodical activities. Such as educational (lectures and courses) and recreative (sports, dancing and music) activities. There are also long term activities, At the moment there are the following projects:

      -          Nos Bohío (project for people above 55 years);
-
          theatre group MCt.
